Richard Jacobs, Managing Director, Private Markets
Richard is managing director in the Private Markets team with a primary focus on Farmland.
Before joining Van Lanschot Kempen in 2017, Richard co-founded Altis Investment Management, an independent asset manager with offices in Switzerland and the Netherlands after having worked at ABN Amro bank and Morgan Stanley in London.
He grew up on a family farm (potato and beets) and still spends his weekend and holidays growing organic wine grapes, grains and vegetables on only a few hectares.
Richard has a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Maastricht University.
Chris Windeatt, Director, Distribution
Chris works in the distribution team in Kempen’s London office, working across different asset classes. Chris has a particular passion for Impact Investing, and a keen interest in helping clients understand the benefits of investing in Sustainable Farmland.
Before joining Kempen, Chris’ previous experience includes a variety of roles at the Punter Southall Group, Cambridge Associates, AK Jensen, Legal and General and BlackRock.
