Briac Houtteville, Managing Director and Head of European Secondaries

Briac joined Portfolio Advisors in 2021 (Portfolio Advisors and FS Investments merged in June 2023) and has been working in the Private Markets since 2006 and Secondaries since 2009.

Prior to joining Portfolio Advisors, he was a Managing Director with Greenhill’s Capital Advisory Group, Co-Head of European Capital Advisory, and Head of GP-led Secondary Advisory in Europe. Before that, Briac worked at Cogent Partners in London where he was responsible for sourcing and executing GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions. Prior to that, he was a Manager with Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services in Paris, providing M&A and transaction support advisory to financial sponsors. Briac holds master’s degrees from ESSEC Business School and the Grenoble INP Institute of Technology in France.
