Details vs. Big Picture: Finding the Right Focus

Presentation by: Charities Investment Consulting Partnership

A key challenge for time strapped investment committees is to where there attention is best focussed. Is simply investing in a passive global equity sufficient or is now the time to focus in on geographical and economic sector exposure? These are just two of the questions the Charities Investment Consulting Partnership will explore in this session.

Case for Global Government Debt - Who are you lending to?

Presentation by: David Katimbo, Head of Fixed Income, EdenTree

Government bonds play an important role in a multi-asset portfolio and with yields now at attractive levels not seen since pre-Financial Crisis – can now contribute meaningfully to both diversification and income requirements. Questions are routinely raised however, as to what exactly investors are funding when we lend to governments. EdenTree is dedicated to sustainable investing and through discussions with clients, have learned that allocating to the asset class, whilst maintaining a credible sustainability bar, has proved challenging. In today’s discussion, we will cover some of the sustainability concerns around sovereigns and how EdenTree’s proprietary approach helps investors mitigate them.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to secure your place. We look forward to seeing you there!
