Our System & Governance Change Theme strives to determine levers and actions which create healthier systems, alongside effective governance, to provide sustainable returns and positive real-world outcomes. Systems change refers to transforming the underlying structures, rules, incentives, behaviours and power dynamics which shape societal and economic outcomes. Governance change ensures investors are equipped to steward systemic transformation. This includes updating trustee beliefs, investment frameworks, manager mandates, oversight processes and accountability mechanisms.
